Every fall TPAUD, in collaboration with Trumbull High School, presents the Freshman Forum to all 9th graders and their guardians. The annual event is required and part of the high school wellness curriculum. Due to Covid restrictions, the 2020 Forum was delivered virtually to every member of the freshman class through four 15-20 minute videos on topics ranging from civil and criminal consequences of the Social Host Law and the effect of substances on the developing teenage brain, as well as personal stories from young adults in recovery from substance misuse.

Video 1: Deidre Fearon, MD, MA, "Forks in the Road"

Video 2: Tom Tesoro, Esq. "People Who Host Lose the Most"

Video 3: Trumbull Police, "Keeping our Kids Safe"

Video 4: Personal Experiences & Available Resources
